1. Who we are
SENTINEL Cyber Defense Limited ("SENTINEL", "we", "us") is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with regional offices in Austin (US) and Singapore. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect
- Contact data — name, email, company, phone number, when you fill out a form or contact us.
- Usage data — pages visited, referring URL, browser, device, and IP address, via privacy-respecting analytics.
- Marketing data — your email subscription to our Threat Brief and event invites.
- Customer data — if you become a customer, we collect additional data needed to deliver services (covered by the MSA and DPA, not this policy).
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
- To respond to your inquiry (legitimate interest)
- To deliver services (contract performance)
- To send security content you opted in to (consent)
- To improve our website (legitimate interest)
- To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation)
4. How long we keep it
We keep contact and marketing data for 24 months from your last interaction. Customer data is kept per the contract and applicable law (typically 7 years for security operations data). You can request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it with:
- Service providers (CRM, email, analytics) under strict data processing agreements.
- Regulators and law enforcement, when legally required.
- Successors in business, in the event of a merger or acquisition.
6. International transfers
SENTINEL operates in the EU, US, and Singapore. Data may be transferred between regions under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards. EU customer data is stored in the EU by default.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@sentinel.example — we respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: a session cookie for login, and privacy-respecting analytics that don't track you across sites. No advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing core site functionality.
9. Security
SENTINEL is itself SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. We apply the same controls to our own data that we apply to our customers' data — including encryption at rest and in transit, MFA on all systems, and 24/7 SOC monitoring.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll post material changes on this page with at least 30 days' notice. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
11. Contact & complaints
